Creemore Valley Classics VIP Stories #30
This is my pride and joy classic car. It is a numbers match 1979 Pontiac Firebird, with a 403 block engine, no A/C, roll down windows, and glass T tops.

The car is originally from Alberta where it was purchased by my cousin in the summer of 1979. The car has been in the family since new, and I became the second owner in 1987 and have had it ever since.

The Firebird has always been properly stored and well taken care of. In 2012, the car underwent a restoration which included body and wheel work and repainting, interior touch ups and some new panels, new weather stripping and seals. Most of the interior, including the dash, console, seats, and carpet are still original.

The car has traveled throughout Canada and the USA during its life, and has been to numerous show and shines in our local area. I have been asked on a number of occasions if I was interested in selling the car (especially back to my cousin), but I still enjoy and value the car immensely and would like to keep it in the family and pass it on to my sons one day.
