05 Jul Saved From The Wrecking Yard: 1926 Chrysler Sedan – 50 Series
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Creemore Valley Classics VIP Stories #82
As a young teenager I was able to save this car from my dad’s wrecking yard on the condition that the car was either going to be restored or scrapped.
While home for a visit in 1972, I purchased a suitable trailer and the un-restored car was transported from the family farm in Muskoka, Ontario to Mount Pearl, Newfoundland where I was living after joining the Newfoundland & Labrador Geological Survey. In August 1987, I was offered and accepted a position with the Ontario Geological Survey, hence the car and family were on the move again. This time to Bradford, Ontario.
The car was fully restored between 1987 & 2007 with the help of family and like minded old car nuts.
