Creemore Valley Classics Stories #11

I’ve dreamed of owning a Pontiac Fiero since they first became available. Trouble is I was only 11 years old when they first arrived in dealer showrooms and I had no drivers license or the funds to buy one! Back then I thought these were the coolest cars and I still feel the same way today. I finally realized my dream in 2011 with the purchase of my silver 1984 Fiero SE.

When I saw this particular car for sale I jumped at the chance to buy it. It was in excellent original condition, with very low kilometers and within my price range. The only thing it really needed was new set of wiper blades. After purchasing the car, I took it in for an undercoat and the shop could not believe how nice this car was for it’s age!

The Fiero is the most comfortable car I have ever driven, and for such a small car, it has a large amount of space and plenty of leg room. It is just so much fun to drive too and pretty good on gas. The Pontiac Fiero is a mid-engined sports car which is a different touch and lots of people stop to look at the car and ask questions about it, or ask what it is or reminisce of the old days when they had one.
